We had the opportunity again to hang out with the Vandewoestynes a couple weeks ago, and it is always good times. Back in the spring we did a family shoot with them at Humboldt Park that supported our Honduras missions trip, and it was crazy to see how the kids have grown. Chalk another one up to aging. It seems the more you age, the more you become fascinated about seeing kids grow. Remember that? Yeah, your grandparents never wore out telling you how they remember holding you, how short you were, changing your diapers, and how your shooting up like an ol’ beanstalk. Anywho, here’s to childhood: the age of making turkeys by tracing your hand, imagining the most epic battle seen and the fastest cars, using sticks as swords (or knives, or gangly claws, or marshmallow roasters), riding tricycles, and eating cool kid food that you couldn’t justify eating now. Enjoy.
