rose & andreas|peggy notebaert nature museum wedding

December 24, 2011–Christmas Eve.  There couldn’t be a more poetic context for Rose & Andreas Winter’s wedding day.  We joined Rose & Andreas early that Saturday morning to document one of biggest decisions in their life.  The setting was serene; it was a mild day, full of sunshine and muted flora.  The ceremony and reception were held at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park, which provided plenty of space and creativity for beautifully lit photographs with delicate backdrops.  Indoors there were massive windows pouring in sun light, which made our cameras were very happy.
Rose took on nearly all her own wedding plans, and she did an immaculate job.  She thought through many details; some particularly unique elements were the fabric hand-made bouquets she found on Etsy and a vintage suitcase for guests to drop their cards in.  She also landed some yummy food from Food for Thought.
Check out their wedding highlight video by Interrupted Media…quality! They’re also our preferred wedding videographers, so check ‘em out.

Rose & Andreas, we hope these images provide you a fond memory of your beautiful ‘Winter’ wedding.  Thank you so much for allowing us to be witnesses of it, and even more thanks for letting us capture it all for you!
