We are Tony and Sharon Hughes, hence T & S. And thats about the only time I will use the word ‘hence’ henceforth.
We are married (since June 2010) and live in Forest Park, IL. We say Chicago, which we justify seeing that we are attached to the city via CTA train.
Our decision to start a photography business grew out of our passion and appreciation for the medium of photography. We started working together photographing weddings before we were married, and have since grown to love the opportunity to work together and witness many couples commit their love to one another in marriage. We love that we can do something we enjoy so much for work.
We love spending quality time with our family and friends, experiencing new cultures, drinking coffee, exploring Chicago, going on picnics, the occasional concert, hearing and telling stories. We (still) enjoy The Office. I (Tony) have been accused of being a coffee snob since I roast coffee. I disagree; I’ll drink crummy coffee every once in a while. I like to read, and sometimes write, but these are no areas of expertise for me. I’d rather bike than walk or drive. Sharon can entertain a conversation in Spanish with you, provided that you speak it. When she isn’t helping out with photography, she is teaching in Chicago Public Schools. She loves to decorate our apartment and is a sucker for thrift stores and Ikea.Our source of inspiration is the life-giving reality of Jesus Christ. He is the reason we have hope in this world and the reason we value life. We see beauty and creativity in this world as a result of the love of the Father.
