We are Tony and Sharon Hughes. We are married (since June 2010) and live in Chicago, IL.
Our decision to start a photography business in 2008 grew out of our passion and appreciation for the medium of photography. We have since grown to love the opportunity to work together and witness many couples commit their love to one another in marriage. In fact, meeting couples is probably the best part of our job. We love that we can do something we enjoy so much for work.
We have photographed over 50 weddings and engagements, and have learned a lot about what goes into a wedding day. It seems in most cases couples are overwhelmed and stressed leading up to the wedding day. But it doesn’t have to be that way. If anything, we hope that the couple’s that we work with will feel like they can worry less and focus more on the most important part of the day: marrying the person they love.
Weddings have taken us near and far. We’ve had the privilege to photograph many weddings here in Chicago, but also have experience with international and destination weddings in Finland, Jamaica and Costa Rica. If you’re having an international or destination wedding, we love adventure and we love weddings–so perfect match :)
