We are now getting around to blogging this last season’s weddings (and let’s be honest, the last few seasons!) and wow there is a lot to process. For starters, this past year was…different. So many couples had to adjust. And while many of the weddings that did happen this year were abbreviated versions of the original wedding plans, there was no lack of joy, beauty, and sentiment. We hope that never goes away; truthfully, we selfishly want intimate, impromptu weddings to never stop!
Megan and Spencer married earlier this year and hosted family and close friends in an intimate backyard Ohio wedding nestled up against the woods on a clear summer evening. What struck us was how special everything felt…and this was the alternative! Sometimes the best things can’t be planned.
